Evening screen too bright, system settings three menus away? Dim and warm this tab right here — two sliders, remembered for next time.
Reading mode
This is what reading at 11pm can feel like when the page stops fighting you. The words stay put, the glare backs off, and your shoulders drop a centimetre.
Bright, blue-white light keeps telling your brain it's midday. A warmer, dimmer page stops arguing with the fact that it's clearly night.
If this feels better, the sliders above are yours — they'll be here next time too.
You should, if you can — system dark mode and night shift cover your whole screen, and this page will never pretend to do that. But system settings are three menus deep, half-locked on work laptops, and all-or-nothing. This is for the one bright tab that's keeping you up.
Do this now: pick Candle and read the sample above. If it turns out the light isn't the only thing that's loud, dim the rest of the inputs one notch at a time.
